Nazareth Hospital Welcomes Orthopedic Surgeon Christopher E. Selgrath, DO

Northeast Philadelphia – (June 29, 2020) – Christopher E. Selgrath, DO, FAAOS, FAOAO, has joined Nazareth Orthopedics at Nazareth Hospital. Formerly of the Rothman Institute, Dr. Selgrath specializes in joint replacement of the hip and knee.

After receiving his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine, Dr. Selgrath completed his internship and residency in orthopedic surgery at the same institution. After residency, he completed a fellowship in adult joint reconstruction at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Va., where he performed over 1,200 joint replacement cases.

Dr. Selgrath is past president of the Philadelphia Orthopaedic Society, a member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, American Osteopathic Association and American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.

He is a fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons and American Osteopathic Academy of Orthopedics. He has published articles and lectured locally and nationally on topics including hip and knee replacements and is a clinical instructor at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine.
